DENVER (KDVR) — Court documents are shedding new light on how Aurora police began investigating suspected gang activity at an apartment complex in the city after video surfaced that shows several suspects with guns drawn and pointed at an apartment unit door.
The Aurora Police Department announced Tuesday that the incident has several similarities to incidents that involved alleged members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua at the now-closed The Edge at Lowry apartments.
Police arrested Larry Galbreath, 23, who faces charges of menacing with a firearm, a felony, and violation of a protection order. Jordan Green, 22, was arrested and released on a summons; however, police said that new evidence has since come to light and that the summons will be revoked. A warrant for his arrest is pending for charges including conspiracy to commit felony menacing and unlawful possession of a weapon.
