DENVER (KDVR) — Friday marks the fifth anniversary involving an unsolved homicide case of a then-27-year-old man, Angel De La Cruz, as the Denver Police Department is asking community members to come forward with any information regarding his death.

On June 20, 2022, on the off-ramp to 20th Street on Interstate 25 at around 2:45 a.m., a man whose identity was not released at that time was shot and then transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Office of the Medical Examiner later identified the man as 27-year-old Angel De La Cruz and ruled his death a homicide.
