Deputy placed on leave after traffic stop that led to UofU student’s ICE detainment

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — The deputy involved with the traffic stop that lead to the ICE detainment of a University of Utah student has been placed on administrative leave.

Investigator Alexander Zwinck pulled 19-year-old Caroline Dias Goncalves over on Thursday, June 5 just outside of Loma, Colorado.
