A former Colorado firefighter has died after going scuba diving in Hawaii.
Greg Durocher, 51, of Castle Rock, died after “participating in scuba diving lessons with his family” at Waiolena Beach Park on Monday, June 30, according to a news release from the Hawaii Police Department.
South Hilo patrol officers and Hawai‘i Fire Department personnel responded to the scene at 12:28 p.m. local time after receiving a report about “a possible drowning.”…
