DPD: Person changing tire, killed by hit-and-run-I-25 driver as police seek info

DENVER – A pedestrian changing a tire on I-25 on Saturday morning was struck and killed by a hit-and-run-driver and police are seeking the public’s help with any information.

At around 7:02 a.m., a driver of a black Toyota 4Runner struck the pedestrian while headed on southbound Interstate 25 just north of the West Alameda Exit, said DPD.

The driver was in the right-hand lane traveling south and “struck a pedestrian who was changing a flat tire on the right shoulder,” wrote DPD in a crime alert…
