DENVER (KDVR) — Two motorcycle owners will get their rides back thanks to the work of the Westminster Police Department on Thursday morning.
The agency said it completed “back-to-back” arrests of two motorcycle thieves on Thursday. The agency said that the first thief was spotted at about 9 a.m., near Sheridan Boulevard and 80th Avenue.

Officers said the man was cruising on a motorcycle that had been reported stolen. They took the 29-year-old rider into custody and allegedly found that he was also carrying illegal drugs.
Shortly thereafter, officers spotted a second motorcycle, this time with no plates, near Federal Boulevard and 104th Avenue. After tracking the motorcycle down, officers discovered that the bike was also stolen.
