Woman sought after $180K fraudulently withdrawn from banks in Denver metro

DENVER (KDVR) — Police are looking to identify a woman after more than $180,000 was fraudulently withdrawn from customers’ accounts in the Denver metro area.

The Longmont Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a female suspect associated with at least two illegal banking transactions where she allegedly fraudulently withdrew money from victims’ accounts using fake identification.

At least two attempts were reportedly made in Longmont and one in the Denver metro area, according to police. On July 2, police said a Longmont bank employee recognized a person who wasn’t the customer with a fake ID and denied the withdrawal…
