23-year-old woman shot in Aurora parking lot Monday night: police

DENVER (KDVR) — A 23-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries Monday night after she was shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 9900 block of East Arizona Drive in Aurora.

The Aurora Police Department said its officers responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot at about 9 p.m. Monday night, and that a preliminary investigation suggests the incident was the result of an argument between two groups of people who knew each other.

Teen arrested in connection with deadly house party shooting

The woman was taken to a local hospital by a witness or witnesses to the incident, according to APD, who said she is expected to survive.
