Witnesses sought in deadly house party shooting in Arapahoe County

DENVER (KDVR) — Investigators are looking for more witnesses to speak with after a deadly shooting at a house party south of Aurora over the weekend.

On Saturday, just before midnight, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to reports of shots fired at a house party.

Deputies found a 19-year-old man lying on the driveway with gunshot wounds to his chest. First responders began life-saving efforts until South Metro Fire Rescue paramedics pronounced him dead on the scene.

The sheriff’s office said on Sunday that a 17-year-old was arrested in connection with the deadly shooting, and he is facing charges of first-degree murder…
