‘It’s been a week for stolen cars’: Westminster police arrest 2 suspects

DENVER (KDVR) — The Westminster Police Department has arrested two suspects in two different auto theft cases, saying on Friday that “it’s been a week for stolen cars and questionable life choices.”

In a post to X, police said that the first alleged stolen vehicle was tracked down to the 800 block of N. Decatur Ct., and the 19-year-old driver was arrested.

On Wednesday, just before 7 a.m., WPD said that officers had found another stolen vehicle near the 8000 block of N. Sheridan Blvd. The alleged suspect was said to be passed out in the car, and the driver reportedly had a revoked license.

Police said that both of those drivers were taken into custody and each vehicle will be “returned to their rightful owners.”
