DENVER (KDVR) — Del Taco has reopened a handful of its locations in Colorado after a sudden months-long closure, and the company said people can look forward to something new as more locations open across the state.
In February this year, the doors closed at all but one Del Taco location in Grand Junction. Signs were posted saying franchise locations would be closed until further notice.

Last month, a spokesperson for the company confirmed to FOX31 that the restaurants were beginning to reopen one by one, and they would be owned and operated by Del Taco Corporate.
On Tuesday, the company announced that it is launching the phased opening of 17 corporate-owned locations across the Front Range. Five have already reopened, including:
- 7506 Parkway Dr., Lone Tree – Opened 6/21/2025
- 1645 Space Center Dr., Colorado Springs – Opened 6/22/2025
- 11053 I-25 Frontage Road, Firestone – Opened 6/24/2025
- 8100 Northfield Blvd., Denver –Opened 6/30/2025
- 24023 E. Prospect Ave, Aurora – Opened 7/14/2025
The company said 12 more of the former locations “will reopen one by one over the summer,” and one former restaurant located at 3465 N. Salida St. will remain closed…
