DENVER (KDVR) — If you rely on the King Soopers on Arapahoe Road in Centennial, a heads up: The location will be closing next month, according to a spokesperson.
The news comes after the store’s parent company, Kroger, announced plans in late June to close 60 stores across the U.S., citing efforts to improve profits.

“Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to close our King Soopers store located at 5050 E Arapahoe Road in Centennial,” a King Soopers spokesperson told FOX31. “While we are leaving this location, we will offer each impacted associate the opportunity to transfer to a new location. This closure is part of a larger company-wide decision to run more efficiently and ensure the long-term health of our business.”
