VIDEO: Colorado animal control officers scoop ducklings from pool, lead mom on ‘parade’ back to pond

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (KKTV) – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office shared video Thursday of a recent rescue after some baby ducks got stuck in an apartment complex’s pool.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, some ducklings were too small to get out of the pool at the Westwood Green Apartments in Lakewood once they got in.

Animal control officers were able to scoop the ducklings out of the pool and into a crate, but officials said the next problem came when their mother refused to be carried…
