DENVER (KDVR) — Police are on the scene of a crash that occurred on Sunday evening, according to a post on X from the Aurora Police Department.

The crash shut down all northbound lanes of Interstate 225 just south of the exit to Alameda Avenue. Two lanes have since reopened, but one lane and the shoulder are closed.
Police said that a person died in the crash that only involved a single vehicle.
