18-year-old charged with murder in Castle Pines family stabbing

Douglas County’s 23rd Judicial District Attorney charged a man for murder after he allegedly stabbed his mother to death and critically injured his sister at a Castle Pines apartment complex last week.

On Friday, Douglas County Judge Daniel Worhola reviewed the charges Messiah Williams, 18: first-degree murder; first-degree attempted murder, assault and tampering with physical evidence, according to the 23rd Judicial District.

At 11:36 p.m. on July 20, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived at The Madison Apartments in the 1300 block of Sweet River Circle, east of Castle Pines. Inside a unit, deputies found a woman unresponsive and another woman suffering from critical stab wound injuries…
