DENVER (KDVR) — More than a month after an observation “spiral tower” was proposed in Denver, plans are starting to move forward.
In late June, Barry Gilbert, the manager of Denver-based NAI Shames Makovsky, submitted an application for a concept review to the city and county of Denver for a tower at 1546 California Street.

The tower, which was described in the plan as a 673-foot-tall observation “spiral tower,” would lie in the Central Business District neighborhood between California and Welton Streets. While there were minimal details on the plan, more details are starting to emerge.
