Adult man arrested for allegedly shining high-powered laser at airplanes, found with meth

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (WKRC) – A man was charged after he allegedly shined a high-powered laser pointer at airplanes, with police finding meth on his person during the arrest.

Most people have heard that pointing a laser at an airplane could carry legal consequences since the high-powered photons could obstruct the pilots’ view or even blind them, and one man is learning the extent of those consequences the hard way.
