DENVER, Colorado — Denver is heading toward another record-breaking year for eviction filings, with 9,335 cases filed through July, according to data from Denver County courts.
The July numbers marked the highest monthly total of the year, with almost 1,400 eviction filings recorded in that month alone, said Marissa Molina, chief policy and communications officer at the Community Economic Defense Project. Court records show exactly 1,378 filings in July 2025.
