Colorado’s ‘best BBQ spot’ imports all of its wood from Texas and has 4.6-star Google rating

Summer is here and for many, that means the scent of freshly smoked barbecue floating through the air. While Colorado might not be known as a ‘barbecue’ state in the same way places like Texas, North Carolina, and Kansas are, there are plenty of great local options when it comes to brisket, pulled pork, smoked sausage.

A recent report from Mashed sought to track down the best barbecue restaurant in each state around the country, and the Colorado pick was Post Oak Barbecue.

Rated 4.6 stars on Google Reviews and located on Denver’s Tennyson Street, Post Oak Barbecue literally lives up to its name in that the restaurant imports all of its post oak that’s used in the cooking process from what’s perhaps the best barbecue city in the country…
