61-year-old arrested in Denver hit-and-run crash that seriously injured motorcyclist

DENVER (KDVR) — A 61-year-old man was arrested and is facing charges connected to a hit-and-run crash that led to a Medina Alert from the Denver Police Department.

On Wednesday, the Denver department said that Donald Zisch, 61, was arrested in connection with a crash on Thursday, Aug. 14, that was reported at about 10:30 p.m.

The crash, which occurred at the intersection of 28th Street and Broadway Street, led to the motorcyclist sustaining a serious injury.

Police issued a Medina Alert for the crash a few hours later, at about 2:15 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, detailing a gold 2007 Toyota Camry that had front-end damage to its passenger side. The alert was deactivated as of Saturday, Aug. 16…
