AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — An Aurora family says their garage was burglarized early Monday, with thieves making off with thousands of dollars in fishing gear and paddleboards.
Homeowner Drew Leckman said he was asleep around 2 a.m. when he got a Ring camera security alert on his phone.

“I woke up and all I saw on my phone was a masked man at my door,” Leckman said. “I went over, opened the safe, grabbed my .38 and went to the front door. I couldn’t see anything outside — it was pitch black.”
