DENVER — A former member of the military in Gambia who was convicted in April of charges that he tortured people suspected of involvement in a failed coup against the West African country’s longtime dictator nearly 20 years ago was sentenced on Friday.
Michael Sang Correa was sentenced to 67 years and six months in prison.
