‘Armed and dangerous’ suspect wanted for intentionally running man over in May

DENVER (KDVR) — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man they are calling “armed and dangerous” who is suspected of running a man over with a car in May.

The incident happened just before 6 a.m. on May 10 in the area of 79th Avenue and Quebec Street. The sheriff’s office said an adult male was riding his bicycle there when he was “intentionally run over by a truck.”

The bicyclist suffered multiple severe injuries in the crash.

Law enforcement has secured an attempted murder warrant for David McWilliams, 46, in connection with the incident. Deputies described McWilliams as being about six feet, six inches tall and weighing around 250 pounds.

    A photo of McWilliams was also provided, showing a white male with a blonde beard and short, blonde hair. The alert from the sheriff’s office and the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers said that McWilliams should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be contacted by citizens…
