Aurora police seek driver after 5-vehicle crash sends 1 to hospital

DENVER (KDVR) — Police are investigating a crash involving five vehicles on Alameda Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.

The crash took place at the intersection of South Potomac Street and East Alameda Avenue, according to a 1:40 p.m. post on X from the Aurora Police Department.

Police said that one person was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition, and two people ran from the scene of the crash, including the driver suspected of causing the crash.

The suspected at-fault driver was reportedly driving a black Chevrolet Tahoe, and the registered owner of the vehicle’s license is revoked due to “habitual traffic violations,” police said.
