These are Colorado’s top 10 high schools. Did yours make the list?

D’Evelyn High School, an “option school” that draws from throughout Jefferson County, is ranked Colorado’s best public high school by U.S. News & World Report in its annual ranking of the nation’s best high schools.

The school, located in Denver near Lakewood, ranked No. 53 nationally. It was the only Colorado High School to make the top 100, while three more made the top 200.

Nine of Colorado’s top-10 public high schools are on the Front Range, with the one exception near Vail. Six of the schools, including four of the state’s top five, are charter schools. All 10 have highly specialized programming, strong STEM offerings or magnet programs…
