UPDATE: Man wanted for 2023 double homicide arrested

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – A man has been arrested nearly two years after his alleged involvement in a fatal shooting in Denver.

On August 29, the FBI Denver Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force and the Denver Police Department arrested double homicide suspect Matthew Johnson in north Denver. According to authorities, the tip came a day after the FBI and Denver Police Department offered a $10,000 reward for information that could help locate Matthew LaDaniel Johnson.

“This defendant will now have his day in court, and the judicial process can begin,” said FBI Denver Special Agent in Charge Mark Michalek. “We hope these efforts bring a measure of justice and relief to the families of the victims.”…
