Employee rescued after 40-foot fall in Frito-Lay silo

DENVER (KDVR) — Denver emergency crews extricated an employee at the Frito-Lay plant on Monday after they allegedly fell around 40 feet into a corn silo, but only suffered minor injuries.

The Denver Fire Department said on X just after noon that its crews and the department’s technical rescue team were responding to a “confined space incident” after a person had fallen in the corn silo.
