DENVER (KDVR) — The family of Chad and Kendra Anderson is still searching for answers in their loved ones’ deaths, months after the couple was found dead inside their burning Thornton home.
The incident was first reported to first responders as a structure fire on Feb. 26 in the 16000 block of Columbine Street, in the Orchard Farms neighborhood. The Thornton Police Department responded and found 58-year-old Kendra and 55-year-old Chad both dead inside the home with apparent gunshot wounds.

Also inside the home were two dogs, who were also dead. Fire investigators determined the fire was set intentionally in the days following the incident. At the same time frame, police announced the deaths were being investigated as homicides.
In May, the family announced a $12,000 reward for information. On Tuesday, the family issued a renewed plea to the community.
“We are pleading with the public and especially the north Thornton community — someone out there knows who took the lives of Chad & Kendra. Please, if you have any information, do the right thing and come forward and share it with law enforcement. Chad and Kendra were taken from us in the most cruel way. Our family is shattered and cannot begin to heal until the killer is brought to justice. We will not stop or slow down until they are arrested,” the family said through the Thornton Police Department…
