Westminster Police recently apprehended a 36-year-old man on the run, laden with multiple warrants and freshly incurred charges, as reported on their official social media account. The unnamed suspect was located near the 7100 block of Federal Blvd and had been sought for two felony charges, including menacing and sexual assault. According to the Westminster Police Department, the man also faces a new accusation of drug distribution and was found in possession of a substantial amount of fentanyl pills.
An extended investigation led to the discovery of 108 fentanyl pills on the person, a drug notoriously linked to a sharp increase in overdose deaths across the nation. “Tsk, tsk,” remarked the #WestyPD in a tongue-in-cheek nod to the alleged offender’s disregard for the law.
