Englewood police shoot suspect who allegedly tried to stab Denny’s employee, injured officer

DENVER (KDVR) — A suspect is in the hospital and will eventually face charges after an Englewood police officer shot him when he allegedly charged at and stabbed another officer at a Denny’s just after midnight Monday, according to the Englewood Police Department.

The officers were responding to the Denny’s after a call that the suspect had pulled a knife on an employee and tried to stab them.
