Stabbing on RTD bus in Aurora leaves 1 injured, suspect not in custody

DENVER (KDVR) — A stabbing onboard a Regional Transportation District bus left one person with non-life-threatening injuries on Wednesday and police say the suspect is not in custody.

The Aurora Police Department told FOX31 that the stabbing occurred near Colfax Avenue and Potomac Street, which is near Interstate 225 and the Rocky Mountain Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

The initial report was received by police at about 4:11 p.m.

Police said that the victim in the stabbing is believed to be a woman and she was taken to a local hospital for treatment…
