Arapahoe County deputies rescue the fanciest of cats

DENVER (KDVR) — When people think of stray cats, they think of scruffy-looking ones, whose silhouettes leap from rooftop to rooftop in the moonlight, and can bite the fish clean off the bone, leaving a full skeleton straight out of a “Tom & Jerry” scene.

What they don’t think of is a white cat with neatly combed fur and a pink bow.

Monday is Indigenous Peoples’ Day, or Columbus Day: Do Coloradans celebrate either?

For Arapahoe County sheriff’s deputies, that’s exactly what they found after reports were made about a cat lingering around the home of a person near South Dayton Street and East Peakview Avenue.

When they arrived at the location, they discovered Lulu, a fluffy Scottish Fold cat who was wearing a pink bow. A social media post from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office described her as the “bougiest stray cat we’ve ever seen.”…
