Denver police shoot homeless man in face, D.A. finds no wrongdoing, warrant issued for advocate

Denver police shot a homeless man in the face Aug. 25 after they believed he had a lethal gun. The weapon, which never is shown in police body camera video released to the media, turned out to be a BB gun, according to police. The man survived but remains in the hospital. The officers were cleared of any wrongdoing by the Denver District Attorney’s Office.
