RTD Alerts Residents to Possible Downtown Denver Transit Disruptions Due to Potential Demonstrations

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is preparing for possible demonstrations in downtown Denver today, November 5, 2025. The agency has announced plans to respond if protests disrupt bus and rail services. RTD has identified 21 bus routes that may be affected. These include routes 0, 6, 10, 15, 15L, 8, 9, 32, 19, 48, 16, 52, ART, 0L, 1, 3L, 44, 83L, 83D, EV, and CV.

RTD staff are working with the Denver Police Department and other partners to ensure public safety and reduce service disruptions. The RTD Transit Police Department will increase patrols in the downtown area. RTD will monitor the situation and adjust services as needed based on updates from public safety officials.
