Police: Juvenile charged in Denver house party shooting that left 3 injured

DENVER (KDVR) — Police body camera footage released Monday shows the chaotic moments during a house party that turned violent in northeast Denver last weekend, leaving three people shot.

The shooting happened Sunday in the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood, on the 5100 block of North Biscay Court. Police said a fight broke out at the party before gunfire erupted.

Body camera video shows people running from the house as gunshots ring out. At one point, an officer can be heard shouting, “Denver PD! Drop your gun!” before firing at a juvenile suspect.

According to police, the juvenile ran from the party after firing a gun 25 times. The officer fired 14 rounds at the suspect, who was later found with a gunshot wound to the leg. The juvenile, whose name has not been released, faces multiple counts of first-degree assault…
