DENVER (KDVR) — Flock cameras helped Boulder police catch a wanted fugitive with active warrants and nearly 80 prior arrests.
The Boulder Police Department said that late last week, in early November, Flock Safety, a technology that uses automated license plate recognition, alerted officers to a vehicle associated with a wanted fugitive. Officers found that the owner of the vehicle was wanted in Larimer County on several charges and had active warrants.

The suspect had an “extensive” criminal history, the department said, with close to 80 prior arrests, including driving under the influence, drug possession, domestic violence, motor vehicle theft and burglary.
Officers found the car near 15th Street and Pine Street, just a few blocks away from Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, and took the suspect into custody. During the search, the police said officers found a small amount of drugs, drug residue and drug paraphernalia…
