DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Fire Department responded to a “very stubborn” structure fire in a neighborhood near Federal Boulevard and Alameda Avenue on Tuesday that ignited several items in the parking lot.
The fire was reported in the 3000 block of West Walsh Place in Denver at about 3:20 p.m., according to the fire department. The agency reported on X that it was responding to a “fully involved house fire” and that crews found heavy fire throughout the home upon arrival.

The agency said that crews had to back out due to concerns of a collapse, but were able to continue the fire attack. All persons associated with the residence had been accounted for as of about 4 p.m.
