DENVER (KDVR) — The cost of living may be going up everywhere, but a new report that looked at local economies in 100 U.S. cities found that Aurora may be one of the better cities to land in.
On Monday, DoorDash released its first-ever State of Local Commerce report, which looks at local economies from 100 U.S. cities based on the millions of transactions on DoorDash across restaurants, groceries and retail. The report shows that Aurora leads the nation in affordability, business growth and family migration, DoorDash said.
The food delivery company found that Aurora is one of the more affordable cities for a regular cheeseburger meal at $14.54, while the national average is $18.58. However, that price is not the best in the nation: Aurora landed at No. 10 on the cheeseburger meal list, while No. 1 went to Lincoln, Nebraska, where a cheeseburger meal costs $10.75…
