DENVER (KDVR) — The family of a Denver pastor who lost everything he owned to a fire this week says the loss was more than just a home, but a place for the community to grow together.
That fire was on Tuesday on Walsh Place near Federal and Alameda. The Denver Fire Department described it as “stubborn” to put out.
The building was a home to Pastor John Sandoval, but also an extension of his original church, where he changed the lives of many in the community. Now, he’s left with nothing but the clothes on his back.
