DENVER (KDVR) — Aurora police are asking the community for information on a potential “domestic-related kidnapping” after the city’s MESH cameras captured the Wednesday incident.
The Aurora Police Department said the kidnapping happened around 9 p.m. on Wednesday in the 1400 block of Emporia Street. At about 9:10 p.m. on Friday, the department said that the woman in the video had been found and was safe.
“We appreciate your assistance with this and the public,” the department stated on X. “This case continues to be under investigation.”

According to the department, video captured by MESH cameras shows a man and a woman having a verbal dispute right before the man allegedly forced the woman into a vehicle. MESH Surveillance cameras are similar to Flock license plate reader cameras, but are typically used for surveillance in businesses and other structures.
The Aurora agency said the kidnapping could be a possible “domestic violence situation.”…
