ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — A man who was shot with a stun gun and put into what prosecutors allege was an illegal chokehold said he feared for his life and believes he was targeted because he’s Venezuelan.
The 20-year-old man, who 9NEWS is not identifying because prosecutors consider him a crime victim, said that he continues to feel fear as a result of what happened on Oct. 8 just off Broadway.
“What I felt from my point of view is that he was going to harm me, he was going to kill me, he wanted to hurt me,” the man, speaking through a Spanish interpreter, told 9NEWS Investigates…
