A man is in custody for allegedly stabbing a woman multiple times in Highlands Ranch Tuesday morning, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to Wagon Box Circle and McArthur Ranch Road in Highlands Ranch Tuesday morning where they found a woman stabbed multiple times. She was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive her injuries, according to the the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect had run away, so the sheriff’s office ordered the neighborhood around the Southridge Recreation Center to shelter in place around 6:15 a.m. Tuesday as deputies searched for the suspect. Everyone in the area on the north side of McArthur Ranch Road from Rock Canyon High School was asked to stay inside their homes with the doors locked, and call 911 to report any suspicious activity…
