DENVER (KDVR) — A father and his son are facing charges for alleged street racing in a deadly crash earlier this month.
The Lakewood Police Department announced Tuesday that it had arrested 65-year-old Gregory Mark Giles and 26-year-old Bryce Anneaus Giles after they turned themselves in. Both men are facing charges in the crash, including vehicular homicide, and details of the crash investigation came to light with an arrest affidavit obtained by FOX31 on Wednesday.

According to the police affidavit, the Lakewood Police Department and West Metro Fire Rescue were dispatched just after 9 p.m. on Nov. 13 to the intersection of West Mississippi Avenue and South Kipling Parkway, where they found three vehicles involved in a crash, one of which was on fire.
According to an arrest affidavit for the father and son from the Lakewood Police Department, the driver and passenger of a Toyota 4Runner, which had burst into flames after the crash, were both transported to Saint Anthony Medical Center…
