Thornton police searching for endangered missing adult last seen Wednesday

DENVER (KDVR) — A 45-year-old man with reportedly diminished mental capacity has been missing since the day before Thanksgiving, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation said in an Endangered Missing Adult alert shared Friday.

Kenneth Martin Martinez, 45, of Thornton, was last seen on Nov. 26 at about 3 p.m., according to the alert. He was on foot in the 8800 block of Fox Street in Thornton when he was last seen.

Martinez is described as having a diminished mental capacity, and the CBI alert said that he requires medication, which he does not have with him. The agency said that he is unfamiliar with the area and requires a full-time caretaker.

Martinez is described as a 45-year-old male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is Hispanic and stands about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 217 pounds.
