Police rescue deer trapped in fence at Denver elementary school

A young deer got stuck in a fence at Parmalee Elementary School in Indian Hills last Wednesday, and a police officer helped free it.

According to an X post from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO), “the little one was wedged in tight and was making sure the whole neighborhood knew it.”

A police officer responded to the incident and carefully freed the deer. Fortunately, the mom was close by and the two were reunited quickly after the young deer was set free. The JCSO said that “the fawn bounced right back to deer life, while the neighborhood enjoyed the sudden return of peace and quiet.”…
