Man charged with attempted murder after driving into Frederick police car

A man was charged with attempted murder after a Nov. 25 arrest in Frederick, when police said he drove away from being pulled over before turning around and driving into the officer’s car.

Andrew Phillip Jaramillo, 26, was charged with one count of attempted first-degree murder with extreme indifference, one count of attempted first-degree murder after deliberation, one count of attempted first-degree assault causing serious bodily injury with a deadly weapon, one count of attempted first-degree assault with extreme indifference, one count of second-degree assault on a police officer, one count of second-degree assault causing injury with a deadly weapon, one count of criminal mischief between $20,000 and $100,000, and one count of vehicular eluding with injury, among the 11 total charges, according to online court documents.

Jaramillo remains in custody at the Weld County Jail on a $750,000 bond, according to court records…
