As Denver homeless coalition tenants fear eviction, city funnels $2 million into legal, rental help

As some Colorado Coalition for the Homeless residents worry about the possibility of being evicted, the Denver City Council voted Monday to provide free legal help to 960 households facing eviction. The council also voted to pay Volunteers of America $1.1 million to provide housing and benefit navigation and rental assistance.
