A warning to Cyber Monday shoppers: Package theft continues to rise in Denver

DENVER (KDVR) — According to Denver police data, the number of package thefts in the city has continued to rise since 2022.

Police say more than 3,300 packages have been reported stolen in Denver so far this year. It’s a crime that takes just seconds.

“These people are just awful,” said Alison Levin, whose doorbell camera recorded video of a woman taking her package from inside a gated walkway Saturday.
