Man sentenced to 40 years for killing, leaving body in Denver alley

DENVER (KDVR) — A man was sentenced on Monday to four decades in prison for shooting and killing a man before leaving him in an alleyway in Denver in 2024.

The Denver District Attorney’s Office said Taleur Davis was sentenced to 40 years in prison in the death of 28-year-old David Richardson.

The shooting happened in northeast Denver on Aug. 15, 2024. Police said at the time that the victim was shot at an unknown location before his body was left in the 1200 block alley between Verbena Street and Wabash Street…
