Authorities have released the cause-of-death in a missing persons case that got quite a bit of media coverage earlier this year.
Paul Aragon, 34, was an unhoused person who was determined to be missing out of the Denver metro area on May 8. At that time, his truck was located in the Broomfield area. His dog was found in the still-running vehicle.
An extensive search and investigation related to his disappearance ensued, involving the use of K9 units, drones, and canvassing his possible routes of travel.
